Randy Gundlach  was born in Sidney Montana and has been a life-long rersident of the North West. Holding a B.S. and an M.S. in Art and Art Education, Randy studied at Eastern Oregon University and taught Sculpting and Photography in Umatilla and Morrow Counties for over 30 years. He currently resides in Pendleton with his wife Jan; they have two sons Matthew and Steven.

Randy is an avid outdoors-man and has spent much of his time hunting and fishing in the rugged wilderness from Idaho to the Eastern Oregon Blue mountains. Randy draws much of his artistic inspiration from these experiences and creates breathe-taking bronze sculptures that capture both the qualities and  drama of his subjects.
